Why study EU law?

• Because EU law is a fascinating area of the law;
• Because for any student who wants to become a lawyer practising in Europe, the knowledge of EU law has become as essential as the knowledge of domestic law;
• Because there is almost no part of domestic law which is not affected by EU law, from constitutional law, human rights law, competition law, environmental law, to intellectual property law, consumer law, contract law, labor law, private international law, etc. Today, all these areas have an EU component. Whatever your specialisation is, you have to know about EU law;
